2. Classrooms
There are ample numbers of the well ventilated modern classroom in every department well equipped with scientific system like LCD projector, Computer system and other modern tools, which are a number of well set up laboratories in each department to provide skilled technical manpower to fit to the technical jobs.
3. Central Computer Lab
Computer lab is the heart of the any engineering institution. Ours have two well organized, air conditioned central computer Laboratories with LAN, having 50 well-equipped computers in each. This is for the common usage of the students of all departments.
4. Central Library
The iconographic power of a college or university library expresses a purpose not just to collect, but also to organize preserve and make knowledge accessible. Today on the campus of virtually every higher educational institute the library occupied a central position. In its placement and prominence, the academic library conveys its integral role in supporting higher education, core mission of research and education. Our central library concentrates on dynamic accessibility of free knowledge by stimulating the intellectual pursuit of students in a lovely ambience. Library is available for students on every working time. Apart from books of technical subjects related to discipline and course, its houses books of general interest, magazines and newspapers.

5. Conference Hall
There is a well furnished, fully air-conditioned conference hall with high efficiency and audio-visual aids for holding seminar, conference or talk shows. Besides the multi-purpose hall approximately accommodates 400 sitting capacity.
6. Hostels
Two well furnished, well decorated, well ventilated multi-storied hostels are situated beside the green natural forest with proper security both for boys and girls under strict discipline. Moreover special tutorial classes are arranged in all weekly holidays of the institute.
7. Playgrounds
A playground is essential for psycho-physical recreation of students. Our institution has taken abundant care for that. Within natural panorama we having plenteous playground with modern facilities to for different sport activities.
8. Health Care
The location of the institute, near to the Mollarpur Sub-Divisional Hospital and Rampurhat Divisional Hospital, makes its possible to provide proper treatment to the sick people during emergency period. Doctor and Ambulance facilities are available for 24 hours in a day.
9. Generator
Our institute is fully facilities with uninterrupted 24hours electric supply with generator availability.
10. Cafeteria
A newly established, well equipped cafeteria in a real panoramic landscape provides all kind of refreshment for everybody with various palatable dishes and beverages with proper drinking water supply through Reverse Osmosis Filterization System.
11. Common Rooms
Common rooms serve the purpose of self-motivation fatigue from the solitary confinement of four walls among the students. Our well facilitated common rooms entirely separated for boys and girls bridge the gulf between two classes with constructive discussions.

Seminar
A seminar is a carnival of educated and learned people either at an academic institution or offered by a commercial or official organization. BIET(P) incorporates in bringing together eminent speakers from Industry and Institutes of higher learning for recurring meetings, focusing each time on some particular subject, imparting the students and faculty members required and essential knowledge so that they may cope with the educational standards pertinent to national and international level. Moreover, students’ seminars are also conducted departmentally on a regular basis. Recently in the year 2013, December, a seminar was organized by the department of Mechanical Engineering on Auto CAD and CAM for the Mechanical 3rd year students.
Workshops
BIET(P) arranges workshops on regular basis focusing on to create opportunities for the students and faculties for various Engineering streams to explore the basic tools of graph theory along with the discussion on the latest development as well as future direction.
Recently our workshop was conducted by Prof. Nandan Banerji, Dept of CST along with department of Mathematics. His research interests include Graph Theory, Applied algebra etc.
Conference
BIET(P) organizes conferences frequently to discuss the relevant topics for the students to enhance their capability with fruitful knowledge and reasoning and thus making the education more relevant for the practical application basis. In the calendar year 2013 a conference titled “Towards a sustainable HR profession “ was held by Mr. Biplab Roy, Dy Director, DTET, West Bengal.
Mentoring & Counseling
Mentoring is not a new phenomenon. The word ‘mentor’ is derived from an ancient Greek myth.
Mentoring in an educational organization is a process of creating a supporting relationship between a students and a teacher. A mentor will support and guide a mentee, often gaining new insights into their own operating style. In BIET(P) mentoring is predominantly used for career and board development. Ours have a group of mentors who takes care to shape individuals’ beliefs and values in a positive way often a longer term career relationship for someone who has ‘done it before’.
On the contrary counseling is a highly skilled intervention focused on helping individual to address underlying psychological problem. Our institution motivates counseling to address psycho-social as well as performance issue.
Techfest
The term ‘Tech Fest’ refers to the annual science and technical festival of a technical institute. It also refers to the independent body of students who organize this event along with many other social initiatives and outreach programs throughout the year. In BIET(P) Tech Fest is known for hoisting a variety of events that include competitions, exhibitions, lecturers as well as workshops, organized by the students every year.
Annual Cultural Program
Cultural fest, in our educational organization, does not mean merely entertainment but it reflects tradition individual talent as well as group activity and taste for culture in which we belong to.
From the very beginning BIET (P) students have shown their interest in cultural activities. ‘SATIRTHA’, a souvenir, reflect our institutions’ vision and reason and encourages to bring out talents which may be hidden in a student. A special function and blood donation camp is organized every year in 18th November, the foundation Day of our society.
