A student shall be eligible to appear the semester examination provided he / she pursues a regular course of study in respective depts. And attends at least 60 % of theoretical, practical and sessional classes on an average held during the semester. The attendance shall be considered from the date of admission of the candidate in the college.
A student who has been absent for short periods due to participation in cultural, sports, other activities with prior written permission shall be permitted a maximum of additional concession 6% in attendance.
A student shall be allowed to appear at any examination only if he / she paid the prescribed fee by the date specified by WBSCT&VE&SD (TED) . After expiry of specified date the student deposit the examination fee with prescribed additional fee for late submission of application.
A candidate shall be allowed in examination only after he / she is issue an Admit Card for the relevant examination.
A student who is promoted to next higher year with backlogs in the previous year shall be permitted to appear as a casual student as per provision with extra payable of Casual Examination fee as per the norms and regulations of WBSCT&VE&SD (TED).
